I would like to offer my response to Committeeman Louis Reiner's comments regarding those of the Islamic faith.
"This week’s anti-Islam comments from Raritan Township Deputy Mayor Louis Reiner were an outrageous act of intolerance.
Raritan is a community of religious diversity and our elected officials are sworn to serve all members of the community, regardless of their religious beliefs.
Mr. Reiner’s disregard of the constitutionally protected right to religious freedom makes him unfit to serve as a Committeeman, no less the Deputy Mayor.
Mr. Reiner must resign."
